The Intruder shares its power train with the Gixxer – a 155cc 14.6bhp motor powers the rear wheel via a five-speed gearbox. Fuel injection isn’t available yet, but will be launched soon. The rear tyre is the widest in the segment, at 140mm, and that feeling is echoed when you sit on the motorcycle – those tank extensions make the Intruder feel a whole lot wider than it is, and it thus feels like a whole lot more motorcycle as well. The seat is also a lot wider than a standard seat, but it is very low as well, offering confidence and comfort to the cruiser aficionado.

Royal Enfield released their new addition to their bike list. Himalayan. With displacement of 411cc it churns 24.5bhp @ 6500 rpm and 32Nm @ 4000rpm and priced at 1.56 ex showroom price it might change the way adventure biking in India.

TVS motor's popular gearless scooter - Wego known for its bady balance. well its been pretty successful in its segment. Now the 2013 model of TVS Wegocomes with front disc brake.

The TVS Wego is powered by a 110cc engine producing 8 HP of power and 8 Nm of torque. It has a V-Matic transmission and a 5-litre fuel tank. The disc brake on the Wego costs an extra Rs. 3000/- as it is not a standard feature. The 2013 TVS Wego has been launched at a price of Rs. 50,000 (ex-showroom).

MV Agusta, the Italian Superbike manufacturer famous for its stylish bikes announced that 800cc MV Agusta “Rivale” would come into the production line and official release would commence from the second half of 2013.


MV Agusta Rivale won the most the Most beautiful bike title at EICMA 2012. The buyers hope is more. Hope MV Agusta sticks to their deadlines this time at least.

The four new colors as seen promises a breath of fresh air for the FZ-S apart from the regular colors that are available which will soon be obsolete once the stocks are gone.

2014 Auto Expo to be held in February at Greater Noida

Society of India Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has announced that the 2014 Auto Expo will be held from 6th to 12th February 2014 at India Expo Centre and Mart at Greater Noida. SIAM said that they aimed at making the Indian Auto Expo the biggest in the world by using the best location possible and having the largest space and largest number of exhibitors. In 2014 they will have 50,000 square metres of space for exhibitors, which is around 10,000 square metres more than this year. Though the main space will only consist of vehicles and accessories, while the components exhibition will be at a different location which is yet to be finalized.

This year about 7 lakh people attended the auto expo. Lets see what happens in 2014 auto expo.

Typhoon 150 MPFI scooter to be launched by Piaggio

Piaggio which owns legendary companies like Vespa, Aprillia and Moto Guzzi, have a speculation that Italian Scooter manufacturer, Piaggio, will bring their stylish Typhoon scooter in India with a 150 cc engine. The engine may be borrowed from the Fly 150 scooter. The Fly 150 has MPFI which means Multi Point Fuel Injection. This may be first of its kind in India.
